“Turkey has no hesitation in the issue of purchasing the second stage S-400. Because all issues have been conducted over the two stages while sitting around a table and discussing this issue”, said Director of the Turkish Defense Industry Administration Ismail Demir, APA’s local bureau reports citing CNN Turk.
I. Demir said that for this reason, the new agreement has not been signed on purchasing of second S-400 system: “The first system was procured and delivered. There are common production, some technological issues, and some details regarding the second system that should be resolved. Or there is no such thing as "Turkey took the first system, thought about it and decided to take the second”. In a statement by Russia in this regard, it is also expressed that the stage on the purchasing of the second system comes to the end. But, just there is no new agreement on the purchasing of the second S-400 system still, the process continues in this direction”.
