Ukraine has recorded 1,603 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 2,221,427, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook, APA reports citing Ukrinform.
"Some 1,603 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine as of June 11, 2021. Among them are 75 children and 72 health workers," the report reads.
According to the report, 70 COVID-related deaths, 762 hospitalizations and 5,583 recoveries were registered in Ukraine on June 10.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,221,427 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 2,120,780 have recovered and 51,577 have died.
The highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was recorded in Kyiv (217), Dnipropetrovsk region (121), Lviv region (113), Kyiv region (105), and Zaporizhia region (97).
Some 1,785 new coronavirus cases were registered in Ukraine on June 9.
