Ukraine has recorded 507 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 2,240,753, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook, APA reports citing Ukrinform.
"Some 507 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (including 41 children and 33 health workers) were recorded in Ukraine on July 9, 2021," the report reads.
According to the report, 20 COVID-related deaths, 364 hospitalizations and 809 recoveries were registered in Ukraine on July 9.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,240,753 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 2,176,919 have recovered and 52,592 have died.
The highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was recorded in Kyiv (150), Kyiv region (47), Kharkiv region (40), Odesa region (29), and Donetsk region (29).
Some 655 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Ukraine on July 8.
