The naval forces of Ukraine received the first Bayraktar TB2 unmanned attack complex, which is manufactured by Turkey, Ukraine's Ministry of Defense wrote on Twitter, APA reports.
“We are gaining height! Defense Minister Andriy Taran: the first Bayraktar TB2 unmanned attack complex for the Naval Forces has been delivered to Ukraine, ”it was reported.
The unmanned complex was received on Thursday, July 15. Final acceptance tests are underway at the base.
On July 4, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that soon Ukraine will receive Turkish Bayraktar drones, which will be handed over to the Ukrainian naval aviation. He added that the Ukrainian military, who will be in charge of the aircraft, are already completing their training in Turkey.
