United Kingdom Health Secretary Sajid Javid stated on Monday that he believes people in the country will be able to celebrate Christmas "normally" this year, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Javid said that in order for that to happen though, everyone needs to keep playing their part in ending the pandemic, Furthermore, he urged people to get vaccinated, saying that some five million people in the UK are yet to get a single dose.
Earlier today, Javid discussed the possibility of introducing vaccine mandates for National Health Service staff, as the UK government renews its push to get people vaccinated.
