Azerbaijani taekwondo fighter Milad Beigi Harchegani has won a license for Tokyo Summer Olympic Games, Apa sport reports.
The double world champion gained this right by reaching the finals of the Grand Prix in Moscow.
Athlete, competing in the weight category of 80 kg, will be included in the national team at Tokyo 2020 according to his position in the world rating. License of the current second world Olympic medalist will be issued at the end of December. According to the last rating of the year, the names of the first taekwondo athletes to go to the Olympics will be determined.
