Minsk-2019: Lorenzo Sotomayor finishes European Games with bronze

Boxing tournaments of II European Games are underway at the capital city of Belarus, Minsk, APA reports.

Azerbaijani boxer Lorenzo Sotomayor tested his skills for grabbing the ticket for the final game. The boxer who fights in 69 kg weight category has met with the British Pat Maccormak.

Previously, Lorenzo Sotomayor who has won his first game in 1/16 finals against Armenian Gurgen Madoyan with 5:0 score, in 1/8 final Bosnian Adem Fetahovich with 4:1, boxer from Kosovo Patriot Behrami 5:0, however couldn’t gain victory in semi-final match. Thus, Azerbaijani boxer finished with bronze the tournament that also has the status of European Championship. This is the second medal of our representative in the tournament.
