60% of this year’s automobile export of Georgia fell to share of Azerbaijan

During January-August of this year, Georgia exported to Azerbaijan automobiles worh $ 156 155,9 thousand, Georgia’s National Statistics Department (GEOSTAT) told APA’s local bureau.

It was noted that this indicator is $8 587,4 thousand or 5,5% more compared to the same period of the last year. Thus during January-August of 2019, Georgia exported to Azerbaijan automobiles worth $147 568,5 thousand.

During the initial 8 months of this year, 60,04% of Georgia’s automobile export fell to share of Azerbaijan.

Note that Georgia exported automobiles worth $260 073,5 thousand during this year. This is 37,2% less in annual expression. In the reporting period, the automobile export accounted for 12,6% of Georgia’s total export.
