Azerbaijan’s revenue from oil and gas transit predicted to increase

The revenues from the transportation of oil and gas through the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan are projected to be 11,4 mln. or AZN 19,38 mln., in the State Oil Fund’s budget for 2020APA-Economics reports citing the comment of Chamber of Accounts on the budget project for 2020 of State Oil Fund.

This is AZN 1,28 mln or 7,1% more in manats in comparison to the relevant performance indicator of 2018, while AZN 0,34 mln. or 1,8% more in comparison to forecast indicators of 2019.

The increase of revenues in transit fee in 2020 is explained with the increase of pipeline tariff for the next year taking into account inflation factor.
