In January-September of this year, the volume of trade turnover that Azerbaijan carried out with EU countries made up USD 6,95 bln. which is USD 2,65 bln. or 27,6% less in comparison to the same period of the previous year, according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on the indicators published by State Customs Committee.
During the reporting period, the volume of export decreased by 34,7% in comparison to the same period of 2019 and made up USD 5,1 bln, while the volume of import made up USD 1,85 bln. increasing by 3,7%.
In the first 9 months of the current year, there was a positive balance worth USD 3,26 bln., this indicator decreased by USD 2,78 bln or 46% in comparison to the same period of 2019.
