Insurance premiums, collected by insurance companies in Azerbaijan, decrease by 7.6%, while payments increase by 9.5%

In January-October this year, AZN 570,5 mln insurance premiums were collected and AZN 225,5 mln. insurance payment has been conducted by insurance companies, acting in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports citing Financial Market Supervisory Authority.

Collected insurance premiums have decreased by AZN 46,7 mln. or by 7.6%, while insurance payments have increased by AZN 19,6 mln. or by 9.5% in comparison with the corresponding period of the previous year.

Premiums on voluntary insurance market were AZN 387 mln, while payments were AZN 159,7 mln. in reporting period. Premiums on compulsory insurance market were AZN 183,5 mln, while payments were AZN 65,8 mln.
