Kestutis Jankauskas: "EU is close to concluding with Azerbaijan an agreement valued at $ 27 mln."

The European Union (EU) is close to concluding with Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy an agreement in the amount of $ 27 mln., said Kestutis Jankauskas, Head of EU Delegation in Azerbaijan during his speech at the online conference entitled as “Post-pandemic: support to resumption of activity of small and medium businesses (SMB)”, "APA-Economics" reports.

K. Jankauskas saying that 90% of the agreement has already been prepared, also noted that these funds will be directed to the measures designed for mitigation of negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and mainly to SMB-es in Azerbaijan. He added that the financing mechanism will be rapid.
