Negative balance of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Ukraine decreases by 8 times

During January-March of this year, the volume of the trade exchange conducted by Azerbaijan with Ukraine made up $ 196,514.05 thousand which is $ 54,138.3 thousand or 38% more as compared with the same period of 2019, according to the calculations conducted by "APA-Economics" on the basis of the indicators issued by the State Customs Committee.

In the reporting period, the volume of the export from Azerbaijan to Ukraine made up $ 94,999.9 thousand. This indicator has increased by $ 49,514.9 thousand or 2.1 times as compared with the same months of 2019. And the volume of the import equaled to $ 101,514.1 thousand, and this indicator increased by $ 4,623.4 thousand or 4.8% as compared with the same period of the last year.

Consequently, in the reporting period, the negative balance of $ 6,514.2 thousand developed, which is $ 44,891.5 thousand or 7.9 times less in the annual expression.
