SOCAR invested more than USD 1,1 bln. in the Georgian economy in 2007-2019, APA-Economics reports citing SOCAR’s report titled “Sustainable development”.

The document notes that since 2006, SOCAR has been investing in the Georgian energy sector by entering the country’s market.

Currently, SOCAR Energy Georgia, SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, SOCAR Georgia Gas, SOCAR Georgia Security, and Kulevi oil terminal operate in Georgia.
