S&P Global Ratings international rating agency forecasts that the exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat in regard to the US dollar will remain stable at the level of 1.7 in the next four years, APA-Economics reports citing the rating agency.
Currently, S&P describes the exchange rate of manat as a soft peg.
According to the agency’s expectations, if the oil prices drop to the level lower than the expectations, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan will regulate the exchange rate of manat in an operative manner.
