This year, about AZN 2,9 bln. of foreign investments brought in Azerbaijani economy

During January-July of this year, AZN 2895,8 mln. of funds have been laid down in the capital stock by foreign enterprises and organizations, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistics Committee.

AZN 2535,7 mln. or 87,6% of the funds laid down in the capital stock at the expense of the proceeds of foreign countries and international organizations were owned by investors of the United Kingdom, the USA, Turkey, Japan, Switzerland, Malaysia, Norway, Russia and Iran.

Note that during January-July of 2020, AZN 7588,3 mln. or 2,6% more funds compared to relevant period of previous year were brought in capital stock from all financial sources for development of the country’s economic and social spheres.
