During January-August of this year, the consumption prices index in Azerbaijan made up 104.8% compared to the same period of 2020, including 105.4% for food products, beverages and tobacco products, 104.2% for non-food products, and paid services rendered to population, says the statement of the State Statistics Committee, APA-Economics reports.
“In August of the current year, the consumption prices index made up 100.5% compared to the previous month, and 106.7% compared to August of the previous year. In August, the consumption prices index for food products, beverages and tobacco products made up 100.8% compared to the previous month, and 107.8% compared to August of the previous year”, the statement says.
In August of 2021, the consumption prices index for non-food products made up 100.3% compared to the previous month, and 105% compared to August of the previous year.
The consumption prices index for the paid services rendered to population during the last month made up 100.2% compared to the previous month, and 106.4% compared to August of the previous year.
