"12 billion 710 million manats is expected to be transferred from the State Oil Fund to the state budget next year,” said Azerbaijani Finance minister Samir Sharifov at the joint meeting of departments at Milli Majlis during the discussion of the draft law “On the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022”, APA reports.
The finance minister noted that this year, the state budget is expected to receive 1.5 billion manats more than the forecast from the State Tax Service, the State Customs Committee, and other sources: “By the end of the year, 1,2-1,3 billion manats of expenditures will not be implemented, and a budget surplus is expected. This will also allow funding for transition projects next year.”
