In January-May of 2021, Gross Domestic Product worth AZN 31 532,5 mln or 0.8% more in comparison to the same period of the previous year was produced in Azerbaijan, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
Added value in the non-oil sector of the economy decreased by 6.7%, while in the oil and gas sector increased by 4.5%.
"41.2% of GDP production fell on share of industry, 10.4% trade; repair of transport means, 7.5% on transport and warehouse, 4.2% agriculture, forestry and fishery, 5.3% construction, 1.9% information and communication, 1.0% accommodation of tourists and public catering fields, 18.8% fell on share of other fields. Net taxes on products and imports made up 9,7% of GDP," noted in the information.
GDP per capita amounted to AZN 3 150,6.
