According to the September issue of the export review, during the first 8 months of 2021, Azerbaijan's export has made up USD 13 bln, on non-oil sectors USD 1,6 bln, the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication told APA-Economics.
Export in the non-oil sector has increased by 429 mln dollars or 37,1% in comparison to the relevant period of 2020. During the 8 months of 2021, Fruits and vegetables accounted for $ 364.7 million in non-oil exports. During the relevant period, ferrous metals and goods made from them increased by 1.5 times, cotton yarn by 3.1 times, sugar by 2.2 times, chemical industry products by 68%, cotton fiber by 88.5%, and aluminum and goods made from it increased by 45% in the non-oil export.
