Azerbaijan's non-oil GDP increases by 5.7%

In January-August of 2021, the country's gross domestic product amounted to 54 730,2 million manats or 3,6% more than compared to the same period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.

Value added in the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 1,2%, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 5,7%.

40,4% of GDP production is industrial, 10,4% is trade; repair of vehicles, 7.2% transport and warehousing, 6.5% agriculture, forestry and fishing, 5% construction, 1.8% information and communication, 1.1% tourist accommodation and catering, 18,4% to other areas, net taxes on products and imports amounted to 9.2% of GDP.

GDP per capita amounted to 5 466,1 manats.
