The prices of cryptocurrencies went up on Wednesday after registering a drop in their value the day before, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The growth comes after the European Commission released its proposal for regulations on fighting money laundering and terrorism financing (AML/CFT), including those for the crypto-sector. "In addition, anonymous crypto asset wallets will be prohibited, fully applying EU AML/CFT rules to the crypto sector," the statement read.
Bitcoin advanced by 6.75% to trade for $31,450.284369 at 6:25 am ET. At the same time, Bitcoin SV gained 5.81% to trade for $119.16. A minute later, Ethereum expanded by 9.61% to go for $1,897.7700.
