Car import to Azerbaijan sharply increases

In January-October of this year 35 457 cars were imported to Azerbaijan, which is 83,4% more in comparison to the related period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing State Customs Committee.

During the reporting period, 31 934 cars envisaged for transporting passengers and other motor vehicles were imported to the country. This figure has increased by 84,1% over the past year.

Moreover, in January-October 2 934 (70,4% more in comparison to the related period of the previous year) motor vehicles for transportation of cargo, 441 motor vehicles with the capacity of transporting 10 people or more including driver and 148 (64,4% increase) special purpose motor vehicles.
