International Monetary Fund (IMF) has increased its outlook on the current account balance of Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports citing IMF.
IMF projects a surplus of the current account balance to be 2.4% of GDP. However, the previous forecast was 1.1% (in April). The forecast for 2022 has been increased from 0.5% to 1.9%. IMF notes that the expected increase in current account balance will be thanks to increasing oil prices.
