Income of telecommunication sector increases by 2.6% in Azerbaijan

In January-October of the current year, income from telecommunication services was AZN 737,1 mln in Azerbaijan, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.

In reporting period, amount of income from telecommunication services has increased by 2.6% in comparison with the corresponding period of the previous year. Incomes of mobile communication sector were 41.7% of the incomes of general telecommunication market.

The Committee also stated that cost of services delivered by information and communication institutions was AZN 1 776,4 mln. in 10 months of this year: “72.7% of the services have been consumed by people. Value of information and communication services has increased by 16.1% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. 82.7% of the income of this sector falls to the share of non-state sector.”
