Negative balance of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and CIS countries increases by 27%

In January-August, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and CIS countries has been USD 2 906,3 mln and it is USD 512,8 mln. or 21.4% more in comparison with the corresponding period of the previous year, according to the calculations, conducted by APA-Economics citing State Customs Committee’s report.

Volume of export increasing by USD 114, 9 mln. or 16.8% has reached USD 797, 8 mln in comparison with the relevant period of the previous year, while volume of import increasing by USD 397, 9 mln. or 23.3% amounted at USD 2 710, 6 mln.

As a result, in reporting period a negative balance trade turnover is USD 1 310,7 mln. and the indicator has increased by USD 283 mln. or 27.5%.
