Non-oil revenues of state budget of Azerbaijan to exceed oil revenues in 2024

It is forecasted that revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan in 2022 will be in the volume of AZN 26,407 bln. 52,4% of this amount (13,840 bln manat) will be formed from the oil sector, and 47,6% (AZN 12,567 bln) from the non-oil sector, APA-Economics reports citing the Ministry of Economy.

Basis of oil revenues will be the transfers to the budget of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) (85.7% or 11.860 billion manat).

The remaining part will fall to the share of receipts on the oil sector through the line of State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy (14,3% or AZN 1,980 bln).

According to the forecasts of the Ministry of Economy, the oil sector will remain its leadership in the structure of revenues of the state budget till 2024, and finally, non-oil revenues will reach 51% exceeding the revenues of the budget in 2024.
