According to the last forecast of the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, if the average price of a barrel of oil is USD 55 for 2021-2022 and USD 50 for 2023-2025, the real growth rate of GDP in the country will make up 4,6% in the current year, 4% in 2022, 5,3% in 2023, 3,7% in 2024, and 3,1% in 2025, APA-Economics reports.
If 4,6% growth of the economy that was forecasted by the Ministry of Economy realizes, the volume of the real GDP in the country will make up AZN 29,93 bln and exceed the figure (AZN 29,91 bln) recorded in 2019 (pre-pandemic period).
