World Bank: Assessment of financial sector of Azerbaijan to be completed in 3 months

The process of assessment of Azerbaijan’s financial sector conducted by the World Bank and International Monetary Fund will be completed in the next three months, said World Bank Country Manager for Azerbaijan Sarah Michael, APA-Economics reports.

According to her, cooperation with Azerbaijan within the framework of the Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP) with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank continues: “Assessment of financial sector of the country, based on the appeal of the Azerbaijani government, started in late 2020. Assessment is expected to be completed in the next three months.”
