ABA: Ten banks faced capital deficiency

“According to the local standards, capital adequacy is normal at most banks. However, the international standards say the situation is different. According to local financial statements, number of such banks is less”, Nuriyev added.

Earlier, head of Board of Directors of the Financial Markets Supervisory Authority (FIMSA) Rufat Aslanli said that four banks, face capital deficiency, are under the control of the regulator. Commenting on this, the ABA head said that number of banks which are under the control of the FIMSA has not changed.
