State Service for Control on Precious Metals and Precious Stones of the Ministry of Finance has received its profit share – 11,655.2 troy ounces (362.6 kg) of gold extracted in Gadabay, after purification in Geneva.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the gold bullions were placed in the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
Earlier, 49,158.6 troy ounces (1,529.1 kg) of 999.9 carat gold bullions were received and saved in the Central Bank.
As of today, Azerbaijan’s gold in Central Bank reached 60,813.8 troy ounces (1,891.7 kg). Market value makes $ 75.8 million.
