Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. As of November 1, 2016, deposits placed by the population in the banks amounted to AZN 7,413,100,000, of which AZN 1,397.6 million (18.85%) are in national currency, AZN 6,015,500,000 (81.15%) in foreign currency.
Compared to the previous year, the personal savings declined AZN 326.2 million or 18.9%. Savings in foreign currency increased AZN 566.4 million or 10.4%.
Along with this, manat deposits slid AZ 28.4 million or 1.99%, the deposits in foreign currency slipped AZN 372.3 million or 5.83% in October.
