The fifth meeting of the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Intergovernmental Commission is planned to be held in Baku, Musaid Ibrahim Abdullah As-Suleym, Ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan, told APA.
He said the meeting is planned to be held in October: “Saudi delegation will visit Azerbaijan. The delegation will include both state officials and representatives of private sector”.
The ambassador also noted that Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia have high level political relations: “Currently, the two countries are working on development of economic, trade and investment links”.
AZAL is planning to launch direct flights from Azerbaijan to Saudi Arabia in September. This will increase the number of tourists from Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijani citizens travelling to holy sites. We are witnessing flow of tourists from Saudi Arabia in recent times.
