‘Azerbaijan opened its first trade representation in Russia. The trade turnover between the two countries demonstrates positive trend, Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev said at the opening of Azerbaijan Business Center in Astrakhan.
According to him, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia increased by 22% to $2 in 2017: ‘In the four months of 2018, the trade turnover grew 30%. We participate in exhibitions organized by Russia in order to support the positive trend. We exhibit our products under the brand ‘Made in Azerbaijan’. In late 2017, Russian Export Center was opened in Baku. Investment cooperation between the two countries is of great importance. Azerbaijan’s investments in Russia exceeded $1 billion. At the same time, Russia invested $4 billion in Azerbaijan’.
