EU remains as main foreign trade partner of Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani residents traded with physical and juridical persons of 137 countries in January-February 2017, 132 countries exported goods to Azerbaijan, 77 countries imported from Azerbaijan.

State Statistical Committee says the foreign trade turnover during the reporting period made up $3,287,700,000, including export amounted to $2,315,700,000 (down 13.5% from revious year), import to $972,000,000 (down 11.8%) and positive balance stood at $1,343,700,000 (down 12.9%).

In the reporting period, 42.9% of trade links were established with EU countries, 11.2% - with CIS countries and 45.9% - with other countries.
