FINCA Azerbaijan has no plan to turn into bank - <span style="color: red;">EXCLUSIVE

At this time, FINCA Azerbaijan is not exploring opportunities to receive a banking license, CEO of Finca Azerbaijan Timothy Tarrant told APA-Economics.

According to him, FINCA Azerbaijan is not focused on becoming a bank now: “It’s some point of future we would be. We have been more focused on measures addressed the economic downturn. I’m assuming that we’re able to get back to growth in the economy as a company. Then we will probably try to start thinking about that again. Globally, FINCA does aspire to have banking licenses in every country. In Eurasia we have four banks. In Azerbaijan we have not that opportunity”.

FINCA Azerbaijan was established in Azerbaijan in 1998.
