Georgia increases trade turnover with Azerbaijan by 44%

The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia made up $207,389,000 in January-March 2017, up $63,617,200 or 44.25% from previous year.

According to National Statistics Office of Georgia, the trade turnover between the two countries makes 9.1% of Georgia’s total foreign trade turnover.

In the reporting period, Georgia exported products worth $31,222,100, up $13,898,500 or 80.23 % from previous year. This figure makes up 5.4% of export in total foreign trade of Georgia.

Azerbaijan exported products worth $176,166,900 to Georgia in the reporting period, up $49,718,700 or 39.32% in comparison with 2016. This figure makes up 10.3% of total import of Georgia.
