Interest in audit companies in Big Four sharply decreases in Azerbaijan

APA-Economics reports citing to Financial Statement of Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CAAR) for 2016, number of contracts on branches and offices of foreign audit companies declined 24% from 651 to 495.

However, amount of the contracts increased AZN 4,181,351.5 or 12.9% from AZN 32,452,663.2 to AZN 36,634,014.7.

Number of contracts on audit companies using trademarks of legal entities rose 5.8% from 497 to 526, amount rose AZN 2,776,532.7 or 23.7% from AZN 11,718,681 to AZN 14,495,213.7.

Number of contracts on local audit companies increased 44% from 1,063 to 1,531, amount rose AZN 659,461.2 or 20.3% from AZN 3,245,655.8 to AZN 3,905,117.

Number of contracts on independent auditors increased 11.9% from 883 to 988, amount rose AZN 138,731.1 or 8.2% from AZN 1,689,089 to AZN 1,827,820.1.
