Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has met with Azerbaijani Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov in New Delhi.
Indian Embassy in Azerbaijan told APA-Economics that the ministers have discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries, trade and investments and etc.
The sides also discussed agreement on elimination of double taxation, and bilateral agreements and bilateral investment agreement.
‘India and Azerbaijan have friendship relations and bilateral cooperation. India’s ONGC Videsh company has equity in Azerbaijan’s oil and gas sector. In 2017 India increased export to Azerbaijan by 60%. Bilateral trade turnover between India and Azerbaijan reached $460 million’, the embassy said.
