USD operations decline 2.2-fold in Azerbaijan

In January-August 2017, the USD operations amounted to $1,928,597,800, down 1.34-fold from $ 4,223,118,900 in the reporting period of 2016. The USD operations made up $334,785,300 in August 2017, $447,306,200 in August of 2016.

In the reporting period of 2017, $137,491,500 was sold, down 1.8-fold from previous year. At the same time, $197,293,800 was bought, down 3.23% in comparison to a year earlier.

Compared to July, purchase of USD increased 33.43%, sale declined 3.87% in August.

Euro operations amounted to EUR 350,672,100 in January-August 2017, down 2.2-fold from EUR 774,712,100 in 2016. In August 2017 the euro operations stood at EUR 77,110,900, down 2.89-fold from EUR 223,128,000 in August 2016.

In the reporting period of 2017, EUR 60,947,900 was sold, down 3.3-fold from previous year. At the same time, EUR 16,163,000 was bought, down 1.35-fold in comparison to a year earlier.

Compared to July, purchase of euro decreased 21.34%, sale rose 1.9-fold in August.
