Date of resumption of Azerbaijan Premier League disclosed

AFFA’s executive vice-president Elkhan Mammadov, PFL’s president Ramin Musayev, senior officials of Premier League clubs, and AFFA’s chief doctor Vyacheslav Khomenko attended the meeting.

Elkhan Mammadov opened the meeting and expressed his gratitude to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev on behalf of the football community in connection with the purposeful measures implemented by the government for the sake of prevention of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in our country, protection of citizens’ health in the period of the pandemic.

The issues of resuming training of Premier League clubs from June 1, 2020, and Premier League and Azerbaijan Cup matches on June 21 2020 have also been included in the agenda of the meeting.
