A footballer of Manchester United club Paul Pogba has ended his career in the French national team, apasport.az reports.

Information in this regard was disseminated by the UK’s Sun publication.

It was stated that the reason for making such a decision by the star footballer was the committing of religious discrimination by the French president Emmanuel Macron in regards to Muslims. The statements of the head of state in regard to the Islamic religion have also paved a way to discontent of the Muslims in France.

Note that the central field player aged 27 held 71 matches as a member of the French national team during 2013-2020, kicked 10 goals.
