EURO 2020 will start today.

According to Apasport.az, 24 strongest teams of the continent will compete in the tournament.

The tournament, which will be held in 11 European cities, including Baku, will last 31 days. The participants of the continental championship will compete in 6 groups of 4 teams each.

Group A (Rome / Baku): Turkey, Italy (host), Wales, Switzerland
Group B (Copenhagen / St. Petersburg): Denmark (host), Finland, Belgium, Russia (host)
Group C (Amsterdam / Bucharest): Netherlands (host), Ukraine, Austria, Northern Macedonia
Group D (London / Glasgow): England (host), Croatia, Scotland (host), Czech Republic
Group E (Seville / St. Petersburg): Spain (host), Sweden, Poland, Slovakia
Group F (Munich / Budapest): Hungary (host), Portugal (final winner), France, Germany (host)

The final match of the championship will take place on July 11.

The opening match of EURO 2020, scheduled for 2020 but postponed this year due to a coronavirus pandemic, will be held in Rome, Italy. The Turkish national team will face Italy in Group A.
