Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry expresses condolences over road accident in Russia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan expressed condolences in connection with the accident in Russia, APA reports.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry expressed condolences to the relatives of the dead passengers who fell from a bus bridge in Transbaikalia, the agency also wished the victims a speedy recovery.

"We are deeply saddened by the news of the deaths of dozens of passengers on a regular bus near Sretensk. We express our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the dead and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded and injured in the accident," said the official representative of Azerbaijani MFA Leyla Abdullayeva.

The bus connecting Chita - Sretensk fell from a bridge over the Kuenga River on the afternoon of December 1. According to preliminary data, 19 people were killed, another 21 were injured.
