 Azerbaijani MFA warns citizens travelling Iran on coronavirus

Taking into consideration risk of spreading the virus recently (coronavirus 2019-nCoV) in our region and citing to the information released by official bodies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry recommends the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan to be extremely careful while travelling to the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially during their visits, and to follow the recommendations of the World Health Organization, the press service of the Ministry told APA.

Azerbaijani citizens are recommended to apply to Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran or Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tabriz while facing any problems.

The addresses of all embassies and consulates of the Republic of Azerbaijan abroad are posted on the website of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (www.mfa.gov.az). Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan staying temporarily, residing temporarily or permanently in foreign countries are advised to contact embassies and consulates and to register with the consulate for proper assistance in case of emergencies and other threats.
