Date of the 27th OSCE Ministerial Council revealed

The 27th Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) will take place online on 3 and 4 December 2020, APA reports citing website of the OSCE.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, for the first time, the Ministerial Council will be held via video teleconferencing (VTC).

The event will be held at the invitation of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Prime Minister and Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, Edi Rama.

Note that the Ministerial Council is the central decision-making and governing body of the OSCE. The annual meeting is an opportunity for the Foreign Ministers of the 57 OSCE participating States to review and assess the security situation in the Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian area, as well as the organization's work in all its fields of activity.
