"We strongly condemn attacks and threats of radical/chauvinistic Armenian lobby groups of the US against the New York Times as they did in France against TF1 crew", Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev wrote on Twitter, APA reports.
According to Mr. Hajiyev they attempt to stifle freedom of expression/ free media. "We may also not agree with w/some parts of the reportage but we respect their work."
