New head elected to Georgia-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group

A vice-speaker of the Georgian parliament Archil Talakvadzeh has been elected the new head of Georgia-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group, APA’s local bureau reports.

86 deputies have approved his candidacy in the voting that took place at today's plenary session of the parliament.

Note that A. Talakvadzeh has resigned from the post of Georgian parliament speaker on April 24.
