President of the World Assembly of Turkic Peoples Yermentay Sultanmurat has sent a letter to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.

The letter reads:

“Dear brother Ilham Heydar oglu!

Dear Azerbaijani brothers!

We congratulate each of you on the great victory in the Patriotic War against the Armenian aggressors!

This victory is a very important stage in the further strengthening of the Azerbaijani nation and the Turkic spirit. This victory will take its rightful place as an important and significant event in our common history.

Leader of Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan has been taken to the National Security Service. Press Secretary of G. Tsarukyan Iveta Tonoyan told reporters in this regard.

Note that earlier due to the military situation in the country, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia warned that protest rallies are banned.

Remind that the protest had to start at 1:00 p.m at the central square of Yerevan, but police, preventing entry of the activists to the Freedom Square, besieged the square a few hours ago.

Rally participants protest trilateral ceasefire among Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia.

Rally participants also require to resign of the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan."
