A number of US companies signed contracts to start work in the liberated areas of Azerbaijan

"US companies are able to promote economic development throughout Azerbaijan," US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lee Litzenberger said, APA reports.

The diplomat said that a number of US companies have signed contracts to start work in the liberated territories.

"If Azerbaijan is more interested in the arrival of a US company, in investing in Azerbaijan, I recommend that it start holding open tenders, and as a result of these open tenders, US companies can apply for programs here. As a result of these open tenders, US companies should know exactly in which areas Azerbaijan is interested so that they can contribute to the development here," said Mr. Ambassador.

Mr. Ambassador added that the United States considers demining as one of the most important humanitarian steps: "The United States is ready to contribute to this issue."
